Leading-edge Clutch option
|
Avoid frequent clutch breakage and slippage with this new leading-edge design. In principle, this type of clutch should actually increase grip as more torque is applied to it and since the force acting on the pivot point of each segments is compressive, the pivot point can endure greater stress and will last longer. The unique shape of the pivot point is longer, more flexible and gradually curved to spread the dynamic stress over a longer section to prevent premature breakage.
It is about 15% lighter and will fit the existing mechanics of Maxum without modifications. Made from a specially selected steel alloy that is hard but not brittle to withstand vibration stress.
